SLJ Wednesday December 23

 Down the farm we go

On a sunny xmas day

Going to the shed,

milking the cows, hooray

Cows wander up, they're slow

Bringing all their milk

Finally they're here - yay

Lets milk, then home we go.

Jingle bells, jingle bells

a milking xmas day.

Oh the cows smell funny as they chomp and chew their hay

Jingle bells, jingle bells

milking twice everyday

Oh what fun it is to have cows on xmas day!

Waiting to open presents

Want to open them right now!

Dad will be home soon,

we'll have so much fun today

Chocolate santa's for me

Treats gift wrapped under the tree

Lots of family here, laughing all day long.

Tree stays up for weeks,

won't take down the lights

Belly's full from dinner, oh what a delight!

It’s Shannon here from the Summer Learning Journey.

What an amazing Christmas song! I’m so impressed by how you’ve kept the original flow and found so many amazing rhyming words to carry out the tune. It’s a great song and you should be super proud of yourself.

Were your lyrics inspired by your home environment? Did you sing it while you were writing it?

Ka pai on a great blog post Hayley.

    Ka kite anō,
