Today I built a dam. Mum helped me with some of it. This is on my driveway we have a little part were you can go down and there is a little creek. I like to make dams because it makes the creek warm and deep for me.

This activity was fun as you had to put on your thinkers cap and find materials that are natural and sturdy enough to form a dam, using beavers as inspiration is a great idea as they are natures dam builders!
I think your design looks great and sturdy, I see you used a lot of piled up rocks to stop the water and it looks like it works! Building a dam is a great idea to have the water fill up deeper to swim in.
I would like to know if you used any drafts or blueprints for this idea and if you did, could you add them to your post.
