Week 3, Day 3, Activity 2

Week 3, Day 3, Activity 2

I was really surprised how they have made so many of the
hands.  I learn’t that it was for free. I thought they would
cost money but they don’t.  I think it was really brave of
them to use the hands and not to be scared of the hand and
how it moves.  I liked how they could have different colours
and not just white ones. My favourite was the purple one.
I also learn’t that they are waterproof which is cool because
you can swim with it and don’t need to take it off.

Week 2, Day 5, Activity 3

Week 2, Day 5, Activity 3

The person I chose was Jane Fonda.
She was an actress in movies and tv programmes.  She has 3
kids and one of them was adopted. She has been married 3
times!

She made exercise videos and she also was an activist
against the war.  She didn’t like Americans going to war.
She would have helped other people who didn’t agree with
the war to complain to the government about it.

Week 2, Day 5, Activity 2

Week 2, Day 5, Activity 2

My Random Act of Kindness that I did was I gave away some
of my clothes and toys to a refugee family.  Some of the
clothes I really liked still but I had grown out of. It made
me a little bit sad to give them up but they needed it more
than I do because I have lots of clothes and they don’t.
They felt really happy and they loved the scooters. They
played around a whole heap of times. I was thinking, next
time I see them I might take up one of our other scooters
so they can play with their new friends with them.

Week 2, Day 5, Activity 1

Week 2, Day 5, Activity 1

For this I was supposed to do a video but I
couldn’t work out how to do it so I’m just
listing my ideas.  I put an extra one in
instead of a video.

5 things we could do to help the people
affected by the Australian fires.
Raise money by having a bake sale.
Giving them all my toys I don’t want anymore.
I could give them a tiny home that I could
make.
Making some nice cards to cheer them up.
We could invite them to stay at our house
for a holiday.
I could send them some food.

Week 2, Day 4, Activity 3

Week 2, Day 4, Activity 3

I picked my Mum as a role model because she is a really good role
model to everybody even if they are another Mum or Dad.  Her
wisdom to me for this was
‘Always stay Humble and Kind’
This is actually originally from a song that we all love and it means a
lot to us.

Week 2 Day 4, Activity 2

Week 2 Day 4, Activity 2

I chose the Inuit People from Canada and the Aboriginal
People from Australia.

2 facts about Inuit People are they eat seals and caribou
and they live in really really cold places in Canada.

2 facts about Aboriginal People are they are all related to
each other back to the very first Aboriginal people and they
were treated really badly by the white people when they
moved to Australia.
