Weekend recount

In the weekends I made a cake, took Cashew down the creek, and watched a
movie. The movie was called Mia and the Lion. It was about Mia not liking the
lion but then she loved the lion. She was trying to save the lion because he was
endanger, from the people that were killing the lion after selling the lion. She
saved the lion though. Next I will talk about my cake.

The cake was a chocolate cake with butter icing. 

My cake FAILED because it looked like a ginger cake that had been cracked
all at the bottom of it. But it didn’t taste too bad. Jess (my annoying sister) did
the icing and I think that the icing is less annoying then her. Now I will talk
about taking Cashew down the creek (Cashew is my dog).

When I took Cashew down to his creek I was biking. When we go down there
Cashew knows that we are going to his creek instead of going down the farm.
Once we get down there I threw Cashew a rock then  when he goes to were it
is, he puts his head down in the water like a duck. When he grabs the rock it
is normally bigger then the one that I through. Cashew also has a place were
he puts the rocks, when he grabs them.

Hi Captain Tom,

My name is Mia.  I am from New Zealand on the West Coast. I have seen you
on the news that’s how I know you. I think that it is really good what you are
doing for the hospitals. It’s really cool that you are 99 and doing a lot of laps
around your house.  Are you looking forward to getting a letter from Queen
Elizabeth on your birthday?  I am really excited for my Great Nana to turn 100
and get her letter from the Queen so I can read it.   I am 9 years old. What is it
like at you house, it is fine at my house?

I am writing to you and asking you all these questions because at school we
are learning about the war and our teacher asked us to write to a soldier from
the war and I thought of you because I don’t know any other people who went
to war. 

What was it like in WW2, was it scary, sad? What did you eat, was it healthy? was it good? What’s the ship that you were in? Was it like the ships that we have now? Did you have a lot of food then? Did you get hurt when you were in
WW2? Were there big home’s? Did you have a pet? What did you write with
there? Were there phones then? How old were you when you went to WW2?
Did you have a lot of friends? Did you make friends during WW2?

Today I got up nice and early and did the room 1 hangout. Then I did some
Anzac day stuff. After that I did some reading on the epic. Then I did my
reading log. Next I had a 5 minute break. Then I did some Mathletics. Next I
did some GoNoodle.

Today I did the room 1 hangout then I did some Anzac day stuff. After that I did some Mathletics. Next I baked some cookies and some seconds. 

Then read a book. Next I write it in my reading log. After that I had a little

day stuff. Then I did some GoNoodle. Next I did some maths in my book. After

Today I played with the cat. Then I did the hangout. After that I commented
back on my blog. Next I read a book and write it in my reading log.  A little
break. Then I did some Anzac day stuff that went for like 1 hour. Then I did the
maths that Mum wrote in my book. After that I did the hangout.

Today I got ready for school. Then I played with the cat. After that I did the
hangout. Next I did my weekend recount. After that I did some home learning.
Then I did some blogging. Next I posted something on my blog.

After that I did some Mathletics. Next I had a break. Then I read a book on
epic. After that I wrote it in my reading log. Then I had a break. Next I did some
Mathletics. After that I had a big break. Then I did the hangout. Finally my day

Today I got up and made some icing for Mum’s cake that I made. I made a
cake because it was Mum’s birthday. It was a vanilla cake. Then I had to hide
the cake all day until about 2:00. After that I went on to the hangout. Next I did
some Mathletics. Then I did some for the Home learning. After that I did some
blogging. Then I had a little giggle. Next I read some books. After that I wrote
in my reading log. Then I watched Amped while doing the dishes. Then I had
some cake for Mum's birthday. After that I did the hangout.

Today I got up and did the hangout. Next I did a little bit of my letter to a
soldier. Then I did some Mathletics. After that I did the rest of my letter to a
soldier. Next I did the Maths that mum wrote in my book. After that I did a blog.
Then I had a break. Next I read a book. After that I wrote it in my reading log.
Then I went on the hangout again.

Finally my day is finished

Making a face Mask

This is my face mask. I made it my self. You will need a needle, some string, some elastic and some material. Then you cut a piece of the material that is a little bit more of you mouth. Then you just turn your material inside out then fold it. Make show that you have left a hole so you can turn it inside out so you get the good side of it. Once you have sewn it and turned it inside out you can put the elastic on. For the elastic you have to sewn it on. Then you have your very own face mask.

Today I baked scones for lunch with Mum. They were very scrumptious. We had to put some flour on them before we cut them so they wouldn't stick. It was a very quick recipe.  Before that we made chocolate chips biscuits.  We tried to time lapse that too but it didn't work cause Mum pushed the wrong button on her phone.  They were both very good and my sisters suck them to eat while they were still warm from cooking.

24.3.2020

Today I had to get up and go have breakfast, for breakfast I had toast. I had to
get up early because I had to do the Google Hangout, we do Google Hangout
so we don’t lose our knowledge. Google Hangout for us go’s for ½ an hour.
Once that is finished we have to write what we did that day. Then I did some
reading. I read two or three books. Then I moved on to Mathletics, on
Mathletics I did the whole number place value. After that I had some things to
eat, it was a chocolate cupcake, then I had to go back and do some more work.
The work that I did was a little more Mathletics and then watched some HEI HEI.
Next Dad wrote down some maths. I did all of them, they were all written. After that I did some GoNoodle. Next I up updated my Reading log. Then I did some
Mathletics again. After that I did another GoNoodle. Then I did some shapes
and I was writing down how many

corners they have and how many sides they have.

Today I got up early and watched some Tv. then I got onto my chrome book
and did the Room 1 Hangout. We were talking early because I wanted to talk
early and catch up with my friends. After that I did some Mathletics. Then I
looked on gmail and Johanna was talking to me, right after I said something
she called me. So she was talking to me. I was doing some Mathletics. After
that I watched some HEI HEI. Then I had a break. When my break was
finished I did some reading on Epic, right after that I wrote in my reading log.
Next I write in my Home learning.

Today I did the Room 1 Hangout, I did it nice and early. Then I did some Mathletics well I was talking to Johanna. I did Mathletics for a while. Then I had
a little break after that break I went on to Home Learning writing. After that I
watched some HEI HEI. I watched two videos. They were scrumptious. Then I
went on epic and read Creature campers. After that I write it in my reading log
that book. Next I did a GoNoodle. Then I did some maths.

Today I got up and did the room 1 Hangout. Well we were doing the Hangout I
was writing down some Maths. Then I did some Mathletics, I did Mathletics for a
while. Then I did my maths that I write in my book Then I read 1 or 2 books on
epic. After that I write the book that I read into the reading log. Next I did some
GoNoodle. After that I did some HEI HEI. Then I had a little break.
